Thanks for a great training day on Friday. We all got alot out of it and the key outcome for us was to improve our 4x4 skills to drive safely. We learnt much about the mechanics of the vehicles which is essential when thinking how to drive and then we put it into practice with excellent tuition. On Site Generation is a company which supports their clients in reducing the energy consumption through renewable energy installations, consultancy and training, so the environment is of paramount importance to us. That is why we have our environmental policy and it is central to our operations. It is great to work with like minded companies who take the environment into account especially when it is a beautiful part of Scotland. Your environmental policy is excellent and your Green Tourism Bronze award is to be applauded. We will certainly recommend you to others.

Just returned from a half day in the Discovery 3 for my husbands Christmas present - Brilliant!!
Our instructor Phil was really positive and very imformative and managed to get both of us negotiaring vertical slopes and woodland tracks which previously I'd took one look at and said No Way!
The half day experince is well worth the money and with the staff in Dunkld they make the experience throughtly enjoyable - Thank You

I booked an hour quad biking for me and the wife and so glad I did! My wife despite being a little nervous was assured and instructed by a wonderful lady instructor (sorry forgot the name!). Had a brilliant time.
If you have some time to spare this company is so well organised, and the people so friendly it's a must
Many Thanks! Rick

I just watched the DVD of my day driving a Range Rover and it reminded me of how much fun the experience was.
Gilbert is a fantastic instructor and the vehicle is truly amazing.
Best wishes to you all from Canada.
Hope to see you again next year for another go.

Dear Graham
RE: STRC Marshals prize of the full day level 1 Land Rover Experience.
I just wanted to write to say a big 'thank you' for donating the above to the STRC last year. I was the lucky marshal who won the prize at the end of 2007 (having managed to get the most marshal points) and attended for my experience on Sunday 13th April, taking my Dad along too.
Having had no 4x4 or off-road experience previously I had no idea what to expect, but the day certainly surpassed all my expectations. My Dad and I had an absolutely fantastic day. Not only did I learn loads, but we also had a great time and lots and lots of laughs with our instructor Rick (AKA Jack - a joke from the day!) which made the day really special for us.
This prize for a marshal (frustrated driver and rubbish co-driver in my case!) is just fantastic, as it gave me the opportunity to have some fun behind the wheel of a brilliant vehicle for a change. A very fitting reward for watching all you guys having fun in your rally cars all year!
Unfortunately I cant manage to marshal at Ingliston, but wish you all the very best for that and look forward to seeing you later in the season.
Thanks again,
Yours sincerely

Hi guys!
Used to have a Series 2A in South Africa. Now living is Scotland and looking at buying a Discovery 200 TDI. My experience with the 2A was that this landy could really take the punishment and still take you to the top of that very rocky mountain. Not many other 4x4's could follow. Is the Discovery as versatile as the older series land rovers, or should I rather be a bit gentler with her? I am used to taking the landy to the extreme and the 2A not once let me down. It survived Africa, and that says quite a bit.
